4. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Safety & Health: Mountain activities involve inherent risks. Guests must follow the safety instructions provided by our guides.

  • Documents: Customers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, Kyrgyzstan visas (if required), and appropriate travel insurance.

  • Conduct: Travelers must respect local Kyrgyz traditions, laws, and the environment. We advocate for "Leave No Trace" principles in the mountains.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies for our wagon hut and guided tours may vary depending on the season and group size.

  • Refund eligibility depends on the specific terms stated at the time of your booking.

  • Shepherd's House is not responsible for fees charged by third-party payment processors or banks during the refund process.

6. Mountain Logistics and Force Majeure Nature is unpredictable. Shepherd's House is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by extreme weather conditions, mountain road closures, or other unforeseen circumstances (Force Majeure). In such cases, we will do our best to adjust the itinerary for your safety.

7. Use of Website You agree not to misuse our website’s functionality, engage in fraudulent activity, or use our content (photos and descriptions of our huts/tours) without our prior permission.

8. Limitation of Liability While we take every precaution to provide a safe experience, Shepherd's House is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury, loss, or damage occurring during trekking or mountain activities beyond our reasonable control.

  • Disruptions caused by third-party services (e.g., international airlines or external transport).
